There is nothing more sophisticated than a well cut cloche, nothing more provactive than a mini top hat set at a jaunty angle, or more cool than a cream panama worn with a summer maxi dress. A hat is so much more chic than a hood and they never go out of fashion. It takes guts to wear a hat, it gives an instant confidence boost and makes any outfit unique. My favourite hat is my vintage Kangol beret which turns out every winter looking as good as it did the first, it makes a dreary wet day worthwile!
